TeaWorld TunisSince 1887 Across the world no other beverage is as popular as tea. The most important tool for making tea is the teapot. A teapot should never be rinsed out with anything but hot water. The tannin, which discolours the inside after a while, provides a natural coating, which enhances the aroma of the tea. The perfect teapot is made of porcelain and should ideally be round or bulbous, as this shape gives the tealeaves room to infuse properly. A teacup is wider and shorter than a coffee cup to bring out the full flavour of the tea.
