Based on the shape of the famous Aalto vase this wooden board is a classic. The board was released in 2006. 430x380x20mm.

Wipe with a soapy cloth to clean, do not soak in water. Do not use very sharp objects that may harm the service of the board.

The original Aalto Vase with its distinctive curved sides was first designed by Alvar Aalto and released by iittala at the 1937 World Fair in Paris.

The shape is supposedly based on sketches playfully named “The Eskimo Woman’s Leather Breeches.” Aalto was also the son of a cartographer, and undoubtedly the Finnish archipelago had some influence on the designer.
