To mark the centenary of the Silversmithy, Georg Jensen has launched two new cutlery services including the minimalist "Jean Nouvel" service. Jean Nouvel is world famous for his architectural style of design, which is characterised by clean, aesthetic lines.
He has used the same purity and simple style in the design of the new cutlery. The clean, sharp outline creates a stylistically consistent movement in the steel and the design of the items.
The design represents scrupulous consideration of how discreet details create a striking and functional effect. The service is made of matt stainless steel and consists of five items: dinner knife, dinner fork, dinner spoon, teaspoon and cake fork.
