Earl Grey Citrus Infusion
A lovely full flavoured black tea with a strong addition of citrus. There is also a wide range of other interesting components in this tea like cactus flowers which also have a citrus like flavour.
The history of Earl Grey tea has been one of speculation for over a century. One of the claims is that it was created by accident. A ship transporting tea and bergamot oil had a an issue where the bergamot oil spilt onto the tea. Throwing out the tea would have been costly for the ships owner, Lord Grey. Therefore he taste tested the tea with a group of friends and they were impressed by the slightly bitter, citrus flavour. This was truly a fortunately accident if it was how Earl Grey tea was introduced to the market.
