Ode to Porirua
A nostalgic, smooth, classic black tea with hints of chocolate & toffee.
A combination of two New Zealand favourite things, tea & chocolate. Classic poetry in a teacup.
Warm the teapot and tea cups
Use fresh water - Better still use spring or filtered water
Boil water to 90c - Or boil the jug and let sit for a few minutes
Use 1 tsp (2g) per teacup (200ml) - 1 heaped tsp (3g) per mug
Steep tea for 3 minutes - Can steep for up to 5 mins
If a stronger brew is required use more tea
May add milk and/or sugar
