It left Armenia on the 1st Sept 2020.

Transit Russia 6th Sept 2020.

Transit UAE 9th Sept 2020. (previously scanned as going via Hong Kong but has since been changed)

Arrived in NZ on the 19th Sept 2020. However the supplier accidentally used our old PO location. NZ Post moved the Wellesley Street boxes to Victoria Street West in early 2020. When NZ Post moved PO Box location they advised mail would be forwarded to the new location until March 2022. 

There is a contact phone number on the parcel but it's against NZ Post's protocol to phone the receiver.

As the parcel is sitting with NZ Post we are checking our PO box weekly for the parcel and are sending emails to the supplier.
30 Sept 2020, We raised an enquiry for the parcel through the supplier. Tracking information advised parcel is still in Armenia.
15 Oct 2020, We ask supplier to raise an enquiry for the missing parcel.
25 Nov 2020, We ask the supplier to raise another enquiry as parcel is still missing. Supplier advised they have the enquiry raised for the missing parcel and the parcel has not be located yet. Tracking information in the system still shows it has not left Armenia. 
8 Dec 2020, We contact supplier again, finally tracking information is available. Back dated information of it going through Russia and Hong Kong have been added.

Tracking advises it left NZ to be returned to Armenia on the 20th Nov 2020.

On the 9th of Jan 2021 there was an attempted delivery in America Samoa.

On the 22nd January 2021 it was in LA.

On the 11th February 2021 it arrived back into NZ but did NZ Post did not attempt to deliver the parcel.

We rang NZ Post on,
18 Feb, NZ Post confirmed they now have the correct delivery address for goods
22 Feb, NZ Post advised the have expedited the parcel and will be delivered in 1 to 2 days
24 Feb, NZ Post advised everything is ok. The parcel had been investigated and will be delivered soon. We officially raised a call back request. NZ Post did not phone back.
1 March, NZ Post advise they are not sure why nobody and raised a redirection request notice for this parcel yet but will do so now and raise another investigation. We officially raised a call back request. NZ Post did not phone back.
2 March, NZ Post said there is a redirection request in the system. Investigation team confirm everything is OK and will take about 2 or 3 days to delivery. We officially raised a call back request. NZ Post did not call back.
4 March, NZ Post confirmed that the redirection team are onto this and another investigation is underway. We officially raised a call back request. NZ Post did not call back.
8 March, NZ Post confirmed that there is still a redirection request in the system and is not sure why this is taking so long. We officially raised a call back request. NZ Post actually called back. Advised the redirection notice is with the international team but they have not heard back rom them yet.

On the 10 March we checked the tracking information and it advises the parcel left NZ to be returned Armenia on the 9 March.

We've raised an official letter of complaint on 10 March with NZ Post in regards to this matter. It took NZ post 6 days promoted by 2 reminder emails before they responded. Advising the parcel had left the country and the international mail center is 'huge and hard to locate parcels in' The parcel was scanned 5 times while it was on a redirection request. 

Transit in Russia 26th March.

Arrived into Armenia 5 April. Still needs to be delivered back to the supplier.  

Apologies to the customers waiting for their decorations and thank you for being so incredibly patient. We are doing everything we possible can. If at any stage you no longer wish to wait for these items please let us know and you will be refunded. 

So the parcel is not lost just unfortunately has been in the tangled clutches of the NZ Post system. Twice. The poor darlings. The supplier has advised once the parcel arrives back to Armenia they will send it to NZ with another courier company. 

When the decorations finally arrive they will be well traveled (unlike most of us in 2020/2021) and have great providence to regale.
