Otago Goes Tropical Black Tea
Black tea. Cherries, coconut & cocoa. Sounds like Otago has gone to the tropics!
New Zealanders are one or the biggest tea consumers per head of population in the world. With this in mind we have developed some special fusions for different regions.
Warm the teapot and teacups
Use fresh water- better still use spring or filtered water
Water temperature 90c - Or boil the jug & let cool for about 5 mins
Use 1 tsp per teacup (200ml) - 1 heaped tsp per mug
Steep tea for 3 minutes
If a stronger brew is required use more tea
May add milk and, or sugar.
Composition: Black tea, cherries, strawberry leaves, cocoa pieces, chocolate (sugar, cacao, cacao butter, low-fat cacao powder,emulator, IP-soja lecithin (E222) ), coconut, flavour.
