Description
Hinemoa was the daughter of the chief Umaukaria and his wife Hinemaru. She went against her parents and tribes wishes by swimming across lake Rotorua to Mokoia island to with Tutanekai who she loved. She was guided while she swam by the music of Tutanekai's flute. The Legend of Hinemoa is thought by many to be the basis of the famous song Pokarekare Ana.Flexible arms and legs with a gold cord for hanging. This fairy is part of a large evolving collection. You can build your selection over the years.
