A native tussock grass that has green flowers heads in early summer
New Zealand, Hanging NZ Fairies
DescriptionThe native Toi Toi plant is often confused with the imported invasive pamper grass (aka as cutty grass) However the native Toi Toi is smaller at 75cm x 1mtr. It is very hardy and is mainly seen in North Island from coastal to subalpine regions.
This Toi Toi fairy was added to the collection in 2021. This fairy has flexible arms and legs with a gold cord for hanging. This fairy is part of a large evolving collection. You can build your selection over the years.
Designed by a local Parnell lady with a passion for fairies and a great eye for colour and materials.
