Jasmine, Fusion Green Tea
This is a very popular style of green tea. Lightly infused with jasmine flowers.
Regular sized leaves with a few flowers. A light taste. Not only is Jasmin tea the world's most popular fusion tea, it could be the inaugural tea fusion of the world. Crafted by the Chinese in apx 500AD for their Emperor.
Many people drink green tea while they are studying or working hard as it is rumoured to keep the mind alert without the overload of caffeine.
This is a Jasmine Green Tea from China. This is not the standard type of Jasmine Green Tea from the supermarkets. It requires to be brewed correctly to bring out the best flavours.
Warm the teapot and teacups
Use fresh water- better still use spring or filtered water
Water temperature 80c - Or boil the jug & let cool for about 5 mins
Use 1 tsp per teacup (200ml) - 1 heaped tsp per mug
You can use the leaves up to 3 times in the same day
First brew Steep 1 min
Second brew Steep 2 min
Third brew Steep 3 min
If a stronger brew is required use more tea
Can add sugar. Try with Matcha sugar
Food match. Jasmine Green Tea is often consumed at dinner time
